My first thought it that this is a bookcase. But it could house anything you desire. There are so many wonderful lifestyle accessories out there these days, I could see a collection of brass vases, candlestick holders … anything …

Painted in matt Black, and lined in Gold Leaf. There are cracks in 2 panes of glass, I’ve glued them with gold glue, Japanese style, showing that this piece has had a previous life, and is ready for more, a nice sentiment I think. The cabinet has a working brass lock and key, to match the brass hinges, which compliment the gold leaf.
